YOUR BIRTH TO BARBELLS TEAM

Birth to Barbells is the passion project of two moms in healthcare: Brigitte and Alanna. Between them they have experienced four pregnancies and deliveries, all of which where unique and changed their entire approach to treating pregnant and postpartum women. They realized through their own experiences and their experiences treating other women, that moms deserve BETTER. They need access to better information, more resources, and a strong community to stand with them.

Dr Brigitte Carlyle, DC

Dr. Brigitte is the mother of two beautiful daughters and is a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic in Kelowna, BC. She focuses on a wide demographic of patients including athletes, pregnancy, and postpartum. Having experienced two very unique pregnancies  gave her a completely new view of the treatment and management of women's health. She strives to provide access to education and fitness in a way that is fun and helps mammas reconnect with their bodies. Her hobbies include golfing, dancing, and acting silly with her littles and husband.

Alanna Redfern, RMT

Alanna Redfern is a Registered Massage Therapist, Kinesiologist, and Group Fitness and Personal Fitness Trainer, living and working in Kelowna, BC. She has always worked with a wide variety of patients and demographics but after having her first of two sons she found her passion working with pregnant and postpartum moms. Now she practices out of her own massage clinic, Fern Massage + Wellness, as well as teaching and training out of TWP Fitness. She spends her days chasing her two active boys and spending as much time outside in the beautiful Okanagan.
